How much does the 2022 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 4.79% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,279 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and abundance of features, and many also like the power of the 2.0L engine and the spacious interior. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a comfortable, practical midsize sedan for daily driving and long trips. With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful shopping opportunity.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights dependable everyday use, with comments centered on a smooth, trouble-free driving experience and confidence in the car’s long-term appeal. That said, a few owners mention engine reliability concerns, so you should still pay close attention to maintenance records and overall condition. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a poorly maintained example rather than the model itself.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Honda Accord?

At 72.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on condition, repair quality, and maintenance documentation, since those factors matter more when you’re shopping a model with a mix of clean and incident-affected inventory.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Accord?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,279 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.79% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,642, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $23,904 sits slightly below last year's $25,107.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you should be better positioned when it’s time to trade or sell. Demand should remain supported by the Accord’s broad appeal, especially among shoppers who want a roomy, practical sedan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,617, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,904 average.
• It adds a more refined feature set and stronger safety focus.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $24,056, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,904 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more engaging take on the Accord.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2022 if you want a well-liked, well-rounded Accord with a healthy mix of listings and softer pricing than a year ago. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the newer redesign and can spend more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
