How much does the 2022 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 4.71% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,309 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and feature-rich cabin, and many also like the spacious interior and comfortable long-distance driving manners. The overview also fits that feedback: you get a roomy midsize sedan with easy-to-use controls, strong packaging, and a practical layout that works well for everyday family use.

With 35.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive price if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a reputation for dependable everyday use, along with praise for comfort and the kind of ownership experience that makes the car easy to count on. That said, some drivers mention engine reliability concerns, so used buyers should pay close attention to maintenance records and how the car has been driven.

For long-term ownership, your risk is lower when you verify service history and avoid examples with signs of neglect or unresolved mechanical issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Honda Accord?

At 73% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, paint consistency, tire wear, and alignment, since those can reveal past collision work or hidden issues.

It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and maintenance documentation, especially if you want a car that will stay dependable over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Accord?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without rushing.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,309 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,642, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $24,016 sits slightly below last year's $25,205.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and mileage will matter even more because buyers will compare your car against a fairly active used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,557, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $24,016 average.
• It adds refinement, more features, and stronger safety focus.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $24,169, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $24,016 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more engaging take on the family sedan.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-liked, well-equipped Accord with a softer price trend and plenty of listings to compare. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value path; if you want the newer redesign and can pay a bit more, the 2023 is the upgrade to consider.
