What is the 2022 Genesis GV80's resale value?

The current average of $34,097 sits slightly below last year's $40,947.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale performance will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than average, especially if they present as clean, premium, and well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Genesis GV80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $31,334, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $34,097 average.
• It offers strong value with stylish design and impressive technology.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $39,037, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $34,097 average.
• It adds standard all-wheel drive and a broader package structure.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest mix of price movement, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling setup, the 2023 is the alternative to compare.
