Used 2022 Genesis GV70 for Sale nearJacksonville, FL

How much does the 2022 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 9.79% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 814 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Genesis GV70 earns a 4.09/5 user rating and an 8.00/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, luxury, and value for money, and they also highlight the spacious interior and high-quality materials. The GV70’s distinctive design helps it stand out, and the available technology is a major strength.

The trade-offs are worth weighing, though: the expert review calls out noisy operation and poor handling. The GV70 also leans more toward style and presence than pure driving sharpness, which matters if you want the most athletic small luxury SUV.

If you want a compact luxury SUV that feels upscale and different from the usual suspects, the GV70 fits that brief well. The market also shows 39.4% good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive listings to find.

Is the 2022 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.09/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a vehicle that feels comfortable, luxurious, and value-oriented, with many owners describing it as a strong all-around choice. The review summary also emphasizes the spacious cabin and high-quality materials, which usually matter to buyers planning to keep a vehicle for the long haul.

The expert review reinforces that impression by describing the GV70 as a good value by luxury-car standards, with a strong warranty and complimentary scheduled maintenance. That combination helps reduce some ownership anxiety early on.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the specific vehicle was maintained well and equipped the way you want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free listings are common but not universal. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on electronics, interior condition, and how well the driver-assistance and infotainment features work in real use. If you’re shopping a higher-mileage example, pay close attention to signs of wear in the cabin and whether the vehicle feels as refined as it should.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base models get leatherette rather than real leather seats, while Sport Prestige models add more distinctive styling and a more upscale cabin presentation. If you’re comparing trims, the base model’s missing luxury touches are the main gap to watch.
• Powertrain: The 2.5-liter turbo-four makes 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 makes 375 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. Both pair with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, blind-spot and forward collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, Highway Driving Assist, and eight airbags. Highway Driving Assist 2 adds lane-change functionality and navigation-based adaptive cruise control with auto-curve slowdown.
• Infotainment: You get a 14.5-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Higher trims can add a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder returns 24 mpg combined with 18-inch or 19-inch wheels, or 22 mpg combined with 21-inch wheels. The V6 is rated at 21 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Genesis GV70 trim should I buy?

The 2022 Genesis GV70 is offered in 5 trim levels: Standard, Select, Advanced, Sport Prestige, and 3.5T Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the core GV70 formula: standard all-wheel drive, the 14.5-inch touchscreen, and a strong set of driver aids. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model, but it’s also the trim where some of the luxury feel is most obviously pared back.
• Select: This trim sits above the base model and is part of the four-cylinder lineup. It’s the better-value choice if you want a step up without jumping all the way to the most expensive versions.
• Advanced: This is the trim to focus on if you want more equipment without going all the way to the top. It should appeal to you if you want a more complete luxury experience while staying away from the highest-priced models.
• Sport Prestige: This trim adds the most distinctive styling and the richest cabin presentation in the four-cylinder range, including the more dramatic exterior details and upgraded interior materials. It’s the best fit if you care about appearance and a more premium feel.
• 3.5T Sport Prestige: This is the range-topper, pairing the V6 with the most upscale trim content. Choose it if you want the strongest performance and the fullest feature set, but it’s the least value-focused option.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the higher-level Highway Driving Assist 2 system is an optional upgrade rather than standard equipment.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Genesis GV70?

The market looks selective rather than overheated, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 814 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.79% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,399, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $31,399 sits slightly below last year's $34,807.

That decline suggests the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper resale expectations later. If you plan to sell in a few years, the current pricing trend means you should expect some depreciation pressure unless demand stays strong.

The good news is that the GV70’s distinctive styling, strong feature content, and luxury-brand appeal can help support future interest. Vehicles that feel well equipped and well liked tend to hold attention better than plain alternatives.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.09/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Genesis GV70 safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The GV70 comes standard with lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, blind-spot and forward collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, Highway Driving Assist, and eight airbags, including a front-center airbag. Optional Highway Driving Assist 2 adds lane-change functionality and navigation-based adaptive cruise control with auto-curve slowdown.

One caveat is that the lane-centering function couldn’t handle every curve in testing, which limits how much you should rely on it in more demanding driving situations. That makes it a helpful support feature, not a substitute for attentive driving.

Should I buy a 2022 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.09/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It launches with standard all-wheel drive and a strong mix of luxury features.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,602, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $31,399 average.
• An all-electric version joins the lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2022 is the smarter starting point because prices are softer and the feature set is already strong. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model-year lineup and want to explore the added electrified option, the 2023 is the better path.
