What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title status, and service records. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the truck’s condition, especially if it was used for towing, hauling, or commercial work. Focus on wear items, signs of heavy use, and whether the truck’s equipment and features match the listing description.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $49,726, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $54,653 average.
• It offers serious towing and hauling strength for buyers who need maximum capability.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping environment, the 2022 is the stronger primary choice because it combines solid inventory, a softer price trend, and strong owner satisfaction. If your main goal is to spend less up front, the 2021 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and the lower price matters more than the newer-year premium.
