What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a full history report so you can confirm accident status, ownership pattern, and maintenance consistency. A pre-purchase inspection matters here because heavy-duty trucks can see hard use, and you want to check for signs of towing wear, suspension stress, and interior or exterior abuse. Focus on overall condition first, then make sure the truck’s equipment and trim level match the way you plan to use it.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $49,777, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $54,378 average.
• It emphasizes maximum towing and hauling capability in a broad configuration range.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market mix of price movement, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the better value path, especially if you can find one in clean condition and equipped for your needs.
