How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe cost?

Prices have softened 13.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,667 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2022 Tahoe stands out as a full-size SUV that blends family-hauling space with serious utility, and its redesigned cabin brings improved passenger comfort, expanded cargo space, and upgraded technology. You also get a more comfortable third row than before, plus a broad feature set that makes it appealing if you want a big SUV that feels more modern inside. 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Tahoe’s appeal comes from its redesigned layout, improved comfort, and added equipment, all of which support a more polished ownership experience. Standard safety tech and available towing-focused camera views also make it easier to live with day to day. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is the usual one for a large SUV: higher running costs and the need to stay on top of condition, maintenance, and wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, confirm service records, and make sure the truck’s history matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the suspension, brakes, tires, electronics, and towing-related equipment, since those systems matter most on a large SUV like this. Focus on overall condition and how the vehicle was used, especially if you plan to tow or drive it regularly in tight urban settings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,667 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.82% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $44,080, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $44,080 sits slightly below last year's $51,150.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the Tahoe’s broad appeal and strong utility should help it stay relevant with family buyers and shoppers who need towing capability. The current pricing also leaves less room for further depreciation shock than when values are still elevated.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $39,070, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $44,080 average.
• It delivers a fresh redesign with major gains in comfort, cargo space, and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping opportunity, the 2022 is the stronger primary pick because it combines a lower market price than last year with solid inventory and strong owner satisfaction. If your top priority is saving money upfront, the 2021 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
