Used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale nearKansas City, MO

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 4.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,899 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.8/5 model, and the expert rating is 8.2/10. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the Corvette’s stunning looks, impressive performance, comfortable ride, excellent handling, and value for money. The mid-engine layout also comes through as a recurring strength, helping the car feel special without losing everyday usability.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and limited cargo space, and advanced safety features are not standard. That fits the Corvette’s role as a serious sports car that still aims to be approachable in the broader performance market.

Good and great deals account for 36.4% of listings, which is a healthy sign if you’re shopping carefully.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car people feel good about living with, and the expert evaluation also emphasizes that it feels easy to get the most out of and remains approachable rather than intimidating. That combination supports the idea that the Corvette can be a satisfying long-term ownership choice if you buy a well-kept example.

Chevy’s three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty also help frame the ownership picture. For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is less about the car’s concept and more about finding one that hasn’t been driven hard or modified heavily.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re serious about, even if the market looks clean overall. A pre-purchase inspection matters here because the Corvette’s performance hardware and low-slung body can make condition differences more important than they are on an ordinary car. Focus on signs of curb rash, underbody scrapes, tire wear, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim and options you want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT, and the base 1LT misses some equipment that appears on higher trims, including navigation and the available driver-assistance features.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.2-liter V8 with 490 hp and 465 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission; the optional performance exhaust raises output to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are the key driver-assistance features, and they are not available on the base 1LT trim.
• Infotainment: All models get an 8-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a built-in WiFi hotspot; navigation is standard on all trims except the base 1LT.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel economy is 16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway, or 19 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, but it leaves out some of the convenience and safety content you may want, so it makes the most sense if you’re prioritizing the lowest price and can live with a simpler setup.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more of the Corvette’s desirable everyday and tech features without pushing you all the way to the top of the range.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most upscale Corvette experience and are willing to pay for the most fully equipped cabin.

The safety package is limited to blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, and those features are not available on the base 1LT.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,899 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $66,535, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $66,535 sits slightly below last year's $69,866.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples with desirable options should still draw attention, especially if they’re accident-free and properly documented.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The Corvette is light on driver-assist tech, with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as the main notable features. Those systems are helpful given the car’s limited rear visibility, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The main safety caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should pay close attention to trim level when comparing used listings. If safety tech matters to you, prioritize a higher trim that includes the available driver-assistance equipment.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 keeps the C8 formula focused on strong performance, easy-to-use tech, and approachable daily driving.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $63,222, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $66,535 average.
• It offers stylish, fun-to-drive value with strong performance and a visceral convertible option.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $76,422, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $66,535 average.
• It leans harder into supercar-style performance and exotic-car character.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, performance, and market availability, the 2022 is the smart default. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the more exotic-feeling follow-up, the 2023 is the step up.
