Used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 10.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,920 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its stylish design, powerful engine options, and comfortable ride. The roomy interior and sporty handling also come up often, and the easy-to-use tech is another recurring strength.

On the other hand, the expert review points to uncomfortable seats and poor visibility, along with poor value for money. That fits the overall use case: you’re getting a style-forward, pavement-focused midsize SUV with practical space and approachable technology, not a class leader in refinement or value.

There are 37.4% good or great deals in the market, so you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with repeated praise for a trouble-free, comfortable ride and confidence in the vehicle over the long term. The expert review reinforces that impression by describing the Blazer’s driving aids as effective and easy to live with, which supports day-to-day dependability.

The available maintenance and ownership perks are not a standout part of this model year’s story, so your long-term risk as a used buyer comes down more to condition, maintenance history, and how the vehicle was equipped.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper history review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on seat comfort, outward visibility, and the condition of any added equipment or driver-assistance features. Since this is a style- and tech-forward SUV, make sure the vehicle’s condition matches its asking price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS trims differ most in engine choice and appearance. The RS stands out with its V6 and more sophisticated AWD setup, while the other trims are more likely to use the turbocharged four-cylinder. If you want the best value, the 3LT is the trim to study closely because it can add the V6 without jumping all the way to RS pricing.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and FWD or AWD. The RS uses a 3.6-liter V6 with 308 hp and 270 lb-ft, and it can tow up to 4,500 pounds.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Available upgrades include adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and the Safety Alert Seat.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard. The upgraded system adds satellite radio and connected navigation with enhanced voice recognition, and connected services plus a Wi-Fi hotspot are available.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert review says the Blazer RS AWD should have returned 21 mpg in combined driving, and the test loop averaged 20.5 mpg.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• 2LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Blazer experience with the standard turbocharged four-cylinder, the easy-to-use infotainment system, and Chevy Safety Assist. It makes sense if you want the style and tech without stretching for extras.
• 3LT: This is the best-value trim to focus on if you want more flexibility, because it can add the V6 while staying below the RS. It’s the trim to target if you want stronger performance without paying for the top sportier model.
• Premier: This trim adds a more upscale look, including revised bumper and bodyside trim and redesigned standard wheels. It suits you if you want a dressier Blazer and are willing to pay more for appearance and comfort-oriented touches.
• RS: This is the most distinctive trim, with the standard V6 and the more sophisticated twin-clutch AWD system. Choose it if you want the strongest performance and the sportiest setup in the lineup.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard on every trim, so you do not need to move up the lineup to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,920 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,640, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $23,640 sits slightly below last year's $26,489.

That price decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than on broad market appreciation.

Because the Blazer has a defined year-round range and a meaningful year-over-year drop, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer does not earn a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS because its headlights do not provide high-ranking illumination.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard on every trim, and it includes forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Standard rear-seat reminder and Teen Driver technology add more everyday protection, while available upgrades include adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and the Safety Alert Seat.

The main caveat is that the available LED headlights do not appear to help much, which is why the IIHS result falls short of its top award. That means you should pay close attention to lighting and visibility when evaluating a used example.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines Camaro-inspired styling with approachable tech and practical cargo space.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,844, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,640 average.
• It leans harder into style and handling than practicality.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,053, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,640 average.
• It adds a larger touchscreen and more available tech.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and satisfaction, the 2022 is the safer default choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2021 is worth a look; if you want newer tech and can spend more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
