What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Cadillac CT4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report so you can confirm accident status, title history, and prior use before you commit. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the car’s condition, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with performance-oriented equipment. Focus on signs of wear that could affect comfort, electronics, and overall presentation, since those matter a lot in a compact luxury sedan.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Cadillac CT4?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 426 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.53% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Cadillac CT4's resale value?

The current average of $28,120 sits slightly below last year's $30,084.

That price movement suggests the CT4 has softened enough to create a more approachable entry point for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. The model’s distinctive styling and premium positioning can help it stand out, but resale will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Cadillac CT4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.53% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 CT4 is the right pick if you want a compact luxury sedan with a distinctive personality, a rear-drive feel, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2022 stands out as the better-balanced choice if you want the updated equipment and strong owner satisfaction.
