Is the 2022 Buick Envision a good car?

Yes — 4.67/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the 2022 Envision’s appeal centers on a comfortable ride, generous standard equipment, and a more upscale feel than mainstream rivals. It also brings Buick’s QuietTuning refinement, a stylish interior, and a distinctive front fascia, which help it stand out if you want comfort and polish over outright performance or luxury-brand prestige.

The model’s standard equipment is a real strength, especially if you value everyday usability and a well-equipped small SUV. With 37.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Buick Envision reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Envision’s comfort-focused character and generous equipment list suggest a vehicle built to satisfy daily drivers who want a refined, easygoing SUV. Its newer-generation design also helps it feel more modern and cohesive than older versions.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about flash and more about making sure the vehicle has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden wear from prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Envision?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully and confirm the vehicle’s accident history, title status, and service records before you commit. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, electronics, tires, brakes, and suspension so you can judge whether the SUV’s comfort-oriented appeal is backed by clean condition. Focus on overall wear and maintenance quality, since that matters most when you’re shopping a used example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Envision?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,822 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.23% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,449, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $23,452 sits slightly below last year's $25,556.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean history and strong presentation matter more when the broader market has already softened.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,591, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,452 average.
• It marks the start of the redesigned generation with stylish design and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: Buy the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and buyer satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 is the better value path, especially if you find one in clean condition and can live with its simpler overall package.
