That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For future sellers, the current pricing environment means condition, history, and documentation matter even more because buyers will have plenty of comparable listings to choose from.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi SQ5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 43.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is the primary year to target. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and compare them carefully against nearby model years before you decide.
