Is the 2022 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2022 Audi Q7 stands out as a three-row luxury SUV with a practical family layout, comfortable front and second-row seating, and a polished, technical cabin. Its cargo space is also a strength, and the more powerful V6 adds towing capability for buyers who need extra utility. 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a healthy amount of market value to work with.

Is the 2022 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Audi Q7’s overview points to a refined, well-equipped luxury SUV with standard all-wheel drive and available driver-assistance features, but it also notes that the base engine can feel strained and that repair costs may be high. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about keeping up with premium maintenance and running costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a full history report, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings with similar prices. A pre-purchase inspection is worth it on a luxury SUV like this, since repair costs can be high and you’ll want to confirm that the drivetrain, electronics, and cabin features are all in good shape. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, not just mileage, because a well-kept example is likely to be the better long-term buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi Q7?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market, with meaningful discounts and a healthy number of listings to choose from.

• Deal availability: 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,680 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,290, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $30,290 sits slightly below last year's $37,421.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that pricing discipline matters: a well-kept Q7 with strong documentation should be easier to move than one that looks overpriced relative to current market levels. The model’s upscale image and family-friendly utility should still support demand, especially for shoppers who want a refined three-row SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Audi Q7 makes the most sense if you want a refined three-row luxury SUV with strong utility, a polished cabin, and a market that currently favors buyers. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge, since the current pricing trend gives you room to shop carefully.
