Is the 2022 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a three-row luxury SUV with a clean, understated design, practical everyday usability, and an upscale cabin that is comfortable in the front and second rows. It also stands out for useful cargo space and a polished feature set, making it a strong fit if you want a family-friendly luxury SUV with a refined feel. 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the Q7 is appealing for its practical layout, upscale interior, and well-rounded usability, but it also notes that technology and driver-assistance equipment can vary by vehicle. That means reliability for you as a used buyer is tied not just to the model itself, but to how well a specific example was maintained and equipped.

For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is ending up with a poorly maintained or lightly equipped example that doesn’t match the Q7’s stronger versions.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or inconsistent maintenance. Because equipment can vary, make sure the specific Q7 you’re considering has the features and driver-assistance items you want. It also helps to focus on overall condition, since pricing can vary widely based on mileage, specification, and wear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi Q7?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping carefully.

• Deal availability: 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,709 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,127, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $29,127 sits slightly below last year's $36,210.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than owners saw a year ago. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect value when it’s time to sell. The model’s broad appeal as a three-row luxury SUV should support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?
