Overview

The Audi A7 proves you don’t need an SUV to have a functional vehicle. The fastback design provides a solid 25 cubic feet of cargo space without losing the dynamic cornering abilities and comfortable ride of a low-slung sedan.
For the 2021 model year, Audi added some standard features, and it builds on this for 2022 with more standard equipment, including the rear side airbags, a direct tire pressure monitoring system, a large 10.1-inch infotainment system, and the Virtual Cockpit Plus digital instrument panel, which can project the navigation system directly in the driver’s line of sight.
Audi offers the A7 in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trims. The Premium trim includes 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, tri-zone climate control, navigation, and a panoramic power sunroof. Moving up to the Premium Plus adds adaptive cruise control that can stop and go with traffic, active lane assist, matrix-design LED headlights with self-contained washers, and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 16 speakers. The range-topping Prestige adds dual-pane acoustic glass, a head-up display, and power-closing soft doors.
All three trims come with the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 in a mild-hybrid configuration. It makes 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The Premium Plus and Prestige trims are also available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain that utilizes a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This powertrain makes a combined 362 horsepower and has an electric-only range of 24 miles. The plug-in also returns a combined 29 mpg, compared to the V6 A7’s combined 24 mpg.
Base MSRP for the 2022 Audi A7 is $70,245 for the Premium trim. The Premium Plus starts at $75,395, and the plug-in Premium Plus starts at $75,945. The Prestige starts at $79,395 and the Plug-In Prestige starts at $81,285. The Audi A7 is backed by a four-year, 50,000-mile limited warranty.
