Is the 2022 Audi A6 a good car?

The 2022 Audi A6 appeals if you want a premium midsize sedan that feels thoroughly up to date without giving up the A6’s traditionally understated character. It comes with standard quattro all-wheel drive, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual screens, lots of connectivity, and semi-autonomous capability, and it adds a broad equipment list with available performance and convenience features.

That mix makes it especially attractive if you value a luxury sedan with a strong technology roster and a restrained design. 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Audi A6 reliable?

The 2022 Audi A6 is presented as a well-equipped, modern luxury sedan with standard all-wheel drive and a broad feature set, which supports its appeal for buyers who want a premium car that feels current. Its available powertrains and technology-heavy setup suggest a sophisticated ownership experience rather than a bare-bones one.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a feature-rich luxury sedan can become more expensive to maintain if prior care was inconsistent, so service history matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the electronics, infotainment operation, and all-wheel-drive-related systems, since this model leans heavily on technology and standard quattro hardware. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and whether the car’s features work as intended, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi A6?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market if you’re shopping carefully and comparing listings.

• Deal availability: 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 442 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,305, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $29,331 sits slightly below last year's $37,799.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the current pricing trend means your future resale value will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the car is documented. A well-kept example should still be easier to move than one with incomplete service history or visible wear.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.40% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 Audi A6 is the right pick if you want a modern, well-equipped luxury sedan with standard all-wheel drive and a strong value shift in your favor. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2022 stands out as the more compelling choice when you want a balance of features, inventory depth, and softened pricing.
