Used 2022 Audi A3 for Sale nearLas Vegas, NV

How much does the 2022 Audi A3 cost?

Prices have softened 9.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 388 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of used A3s to compare.

Is the 2022 Audi A3 a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Audi A3 earns a 4/5 user rating and an 8.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

The A3 is positioned as a premium compact four-door with a more polished feel, a stylish design, and added substance in a new-generation makeover. It also brings a fun-to-drive character and impressive technology, which makes it appealing if you want an entry-level luxury sedan that feels more upscale than basic.

One trade-off is that prices rise quickly with trims and options. Another is that the A3’s premium features can push you toward higher trims if you want the most desirable equipment.

Good and great deals account for 41.0% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Audi A3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The A3 is described as a familiar, proven choice in its class, and its turbocharged 2.0-liter engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic that is designed for quick shifting and smoother operation. That combination supports the car’s efficient, refined character while keeping the driving experience lively.

Audi also notes that the dual-clutch setup contributes to greater efficiency and smoother shifts, and the A3’s overall engineering emphasizes controlled ride quality and crisp handling. If you want a compact luxury sedan that feels well sorted rather than experimental, that’s a reassuring sign.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the car’s premium content and performance-oriented hardware can make upkeep more expensive than a mainstream compact.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi A3?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the car’s electronics, driver-assistance features, and interior controls, since those are the kinds of systems that matter most in a modern luxury sedan. It also makes sense to compare trim equipment closely so you know whether the car has the features you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Premium trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels, eight-way power front seats with four-way power lumbar, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, and lane departure warning. Premium Plus adds adaptive cruise control, memory for the driver’s seat, wireless device charging, advanced key, and Active Lane Assist. Prestige adds matrix-design LED headlights, a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 3D sound, the Virtual Cockpit digital instrument panel, a head-up display, and navigation.
• Powertrain: The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder makes 201 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. The A3 uses a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission, and the S3 uses a 306 hp version of the same engine.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes Pre Sense Basic, pre sense front, high-beam assist, lane-departure warning, electronic child locks, rear-seat LATCH anchors, rear side airbags, and a top-speed limiter. Available features include side assist blind-spot monitoring, Pre Sense Rear, Parking System Plus, Park Assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control with lane-centering.
• Infotainment: The A3 uses a 10.1-inch touchscreen for MMI, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Wireless charging is available, and the Virtual Cockpit 12.3-inch digital display is standard on Prestige and available on Premium Plus.
• Fuel efficiency: The A3 is rated at 29 mpg city/38 mpg highway/32 mpg combined with front-wheel drive, or 28 mpg city/36 mpg highway/31 mpg combined with AWD. The S3 is rated at 23 mpg city/32 mpg highway/27 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Audi A3 trim should I buy?

The 2022 Audi A3 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still gives you a strong equipment list with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, power front seats, and lane departure warning. It is the best-value starting point if you want the A3’s core luxury and tech without stretching too far.
• Premium Plus: This is the trim that adds the most useful everyday upgrades, including adaptive cruise control, memory for the driver’s seat, wireless device charging, advanced key, and Active Lane Assist. If you want the sweet spot between price and features, this is the one to target.
• Prestige: This trim brings the most upscale hardware, including matrix-design LED headlights, the Virtual Cockpit digital instrument panel, a head-up display, navigation, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 3D sound. Choose it if you want the most complete A3 experience.

The safety package includes standard Pre Sense Basic, pre sense front, high-beam assist, and lane-departure warning, with additional driver-assistance features available on higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi A3?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with enough inventory and enough price softness to give you leverage.

• Deal availability: 41.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 388 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,025, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $22,049 sits slightly below last year's $24,327.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment level rather than just model-year desirability.

Because the A3 is a premium compact sedan with strong tech and broad appeal, well-equipped examples should remain easier to market than stripped-down ones. If you buy carefully now, you may be better positioned to recover value later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Audi A3 safe?

The 2022 Audi A3 has not yet been rated for safety by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave it its top rating of "Good" in all crashworthiness tests and "Acceptable" in ease of use for LATCH connectors.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes Pre Sense Basic, pre sense front, high-beam assist, lane-departure warning, electronic child locks, rear-seat LATCH anchors, rear side airbags, and a top-speed limiter. Available driver-assistance features include side assist blind-spot monitoring, Pre Sense Rear, Parking System Plus, Park Assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control with lane-centering.

One caveat is that the model has not yet been rated by NHTSA, so you should lean on the IIHS results and the car’s standard safety equipment when evaluating it.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 41.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 model brings a new-generation redesign with a premium compact sedan layout, strong technology, and a broad trim spread that includes the higher-performance S3 variant.

The bottom line: The 2022 A3 makes the most sense if you want the newer-generation design, strong tech, and a market that currently favors buyers. If you’re shopping on a tighter budget, a different year may be worth considering, but the 2022 stands out if you want the freshest version of the car with a good mix of inventory and pricing leverage.
