You get a cabin that feels upscale for the class, with standard features like a panoramic moonroof, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 9-inch touchscreen. With 39.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2021 Volvo S60 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview emphasizes Volvo’s safety-first engineering, standard City Safety collision avoidance, and a well-equipped, comfort-focused cabin. For used buyers, that points to a car that should reward careful ownership, though you should still budget for the usual wear items and verify that any advanced safety and tech features are working properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Volvo S60?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title status, and service records before you get too far into the process. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, safety systems, and any features tied to the car’s standard and optional tech, since this model year leans heavily on comfort and driver-assistance equipment. Focus on overall condition as well, especially if you want the premium feel the S60 is known for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Volvo S60?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 248 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,002, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Volvo S60's resale value?

The current average of $21,863 sits slightly below last year's $23,145.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also suggests resale values have eased compared with the prior year. If you plan to sell later, the best protection is to buy a clean, well-kept example and keep maintenance records organized. A car that presents well and checks out cleanly should be easier to move when it is time to trade or sell privately.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Volvo S60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 Volvo S60 is the primary year to target if you want a well-equipped luxury sedan with strong safety credentials, a premium-feeling cabin, and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2021’s stronger standard equipment and favorable market position.
