One year after its return, the Toyota Supra comes with two new engines: one that makes this two-seat coupe more powerful and one that makes it more affordable. Styled in Japan, developed in Germany, and made in Austria, the Supra is a hardtop BMW Z4 with a Toyota badge. It’s an exciting little car that gets attention everywhere. This is our second romp in a Supra and our first with the lighter, cheaper, and slower Supra 2.0. It’s very good. But this model prompts a tough question: Six or four cylinders?

(21 reviews)Slick car with plenty of torque and power to feel exhilarating in the city. Supported well in the aftermarket due to shared parts with both the 3.0 Supra and various BMW models. Interior is nice (albeit I am used to JDM interiors). My base model does not have CarPlay, if that’s a big deal to you, then try to find one with the Safety Package. Little room to put items such as: phones, wallet, keys (and they like to fly under the seats with acceleration). A quick phone stand and the interior feels complete. TLDR; Great looks, great handling, enough power, sports car quirks, good upgradability, saves money over 3.0.
Fun to drive, easy to park and drive on crowded streets. Handles well at speed, lots of acceleration.
