Should I buy a 2021 Tesla Model S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 Model S is the better choice if you want the refresh-era cabin, strong owner satisfaction, and a market that still offers decent deal availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but you’ll want to weigh that against the 2021’s updated interior and strong overall appeal.
