Used 2021 Nissan Armada for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2021 Nissan Armada cost?

Prices have softened 10.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 843 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2021 Nissan Armada a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Nissan Armada earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Technology and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and towing capabilities, and they also like the luxury feel and the big touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay. The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and some outdated technology, and the expert review also points to poor handling as a drawback.

For you, that means the Armada makes the most sense if you want a roomy, capable full-size SUV with strong utility rather than a fuel-sipping daily driver. With 38.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still opportunities to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Nissan Armada reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV that owners are happy to keep for the long haul, especially because of its smooth ride, spacious cabin, and towing strength. The expert review also describes it as a capable daily driver with a proven V8 and familiar truck-based character.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its fuel economy and older-school design can make it less appealing if you want low running costs or the latest tech.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Nissan Armada?

At 74.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a close inspection of body panels, paint consistency, and any signs of prior repair. Because this SUV is often bought for family duty and towing, it also makes sense to focus on overall condition, interior wear, and how well the drivetrain and electronics have been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Armada is offered in S, SV, SL, and Platinum grades. The base trim is more stripped down, while upper trims add more comfort and convenience equipment, and the SL is the only trim that gets the Midnight Edition Package.
• Powertrain: Every Armada uses a 5.6-liter V8 with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and automatic four-wheel drive is available.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic braking. Adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear door alert are also standard.
• Infotainment: The standard 12.3-inch touchscreen is the largest in its class, and wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, Bluetooth, satellite radio, WiFi hotspot capability, and USB Type-A and Type-C ports are standard.
• Fuel efficiency: RWD models are rated at 14 mpg city and 19 mpg highway, while 4WD models are rated at 13 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.

Which 2021 Nissan Armada trim should I buy?

The 2021 Nissan Armada is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, so it makes the most sense if you want the Armada’s core V8 power, standard safety tech, and big-screen infotainment without paying for extras you may not need.
• SV: This is the trim to focus on if you want a better balance of equipment and value, since it builds on the base model without jumping all the way to the higher-priced luxury trims.
• SL: This is the best-value trim if you want a more upscale feel and the added equipment that comes with the mid-to-upper range, plus it’s the only trim eligible for the Midnight Edition Package.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the most premium version, since it bundles the highest-end comfort and convenience features, including the available tech upgrades as standard.

Safety Shield 360 is standard across the lineup, but some advanced driver-assist technologies are not available.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Nissan Armada?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 843 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.23% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,631, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Nissan Armada's resale value?

The current average of $25,631 sits slightly below last year's $28,552.

That price decline suggests the Armada has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you shop carefully now, you may have less downside left than a buyer who paid closer to last year’s average.

Strong owner satisfaction also helps support demand on the used market. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Nissan Armada safe?

The 2021 Nissan Armada earns a three-star rollover rating from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic braking. Adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear door alert are also standard, while a rear camera mirror and surround-view camera system are available.

One caveat is that the Armada has not been rated in nearly every crash-test category, so the available safety picture is incomplete. The lane departure warning can also be overly zealous, and the automatic high beams can be slow to activate.

Should I buy a 2021 Nissan Armada or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 brings a freshened appearance and upgraded technology.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $30,780, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $25,631 average.
• It adds a more modern take on the Armada’s traditional body-on-frame formula.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2021 is the smarter buy because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction and updated tech. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer model-year alternative, the 2022 is the path to consider.
