You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the car’s condition with a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Because this is a luxury SUV, it’s especially important to make sure the condition matches the asking price.

What is the 2021 Maserati Levante's resale value?

The current average of $31,111 sits slightly below last year's $35,657.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale more sensitive to mileage, condition, and maintenance history. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it’s time to sell. A lower entry price can also help reduce the amount of value you need to recover later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Maserati Levante or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $37,726, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $31,111 average.
• The 2022 adds a more performance-focused midsize luxury SUV setup with twin-turbo power and all-wheel drive.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2021 is the stronger starting point because pricing has eased and there are enough listings to shop carefully. If you’re willing to spend more for the newer year and its added performance-oriented setup, the 2022 is the better secondary path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2021 is the one to target first.
