Used 2021 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearNew York, NY

How much does the 2021 Lincoln Aviator cost?

Prices have softened 13.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,248 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.75/5, and the expert rating is 7.83/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, luxurious feel, powerful performance, and spacious, well-designed interior. Those strengths line up with the Aviator’s role as a premium three-row SUV that aims for a more upscale feel than many rivals.

The main trade-offs are a cramped third row and sluggish touchscreen response, with advanced safety features not standard on every trim. That means you should value it most if you want a refined family SUV and can live with a few usability compromises.

Good and great deals account for 36.9% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with repeated praise for comfort, a luxurious cabin, and powerful performance. That kind of feedback matters because it suggests the Aviator is the sort of SUV owners can count on for a premium experience over time.

The expert evaluation also emphasizes its strong overall refinement and well-executed luxury presentation, which supports the case for solid long-term ownership. If you buy used, the main risk is less about basic durability and more about making sure the vehicle’s features and condition match its premium positioning.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, touchscreen responsiveness, and rear-seat usability, since those are the areas most likely to affect day-to-day satisfaction. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and feature operation, especially on higher-trim examples with more equipment.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Standard trim includes synthetic leather upholstery, tri-zone climate control, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, remote start, and a power liftgate. Reserve adds 12-way power-adjustable front seats, upgraded leather upholstery, four-zone climate control, a hands-free power liftgate, second-row captain's chairs, a panoramic sunroof, and a 12-speaker Revel premium stereo system. Grand Touring adds the plug-in hybrid powertrain, adaptive headlights, and the Elements Package Plus content with a heated steering wheel and heated and ventilated front seats. Black Label adds the Convenience and Luxury packages as standard, including a head-up display, wireless device charging, and a 28-speaker Revel Ultima sound system. Black Label Grand Touring adds the Dynamic Handling Package and nearly every optional feature as standard.
• Powertrain: Standard, Reserve, and Black Label trims use a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. Grand Touring and Grand Touring Black Label use the same engine in plug-in hybrid form, with 494 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque, plus up to 21 miles of electric range when fully charged.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and front-and-rear parking sensors. Co-Pilot 360 Plus adds reverse automatic braking, self-parking functionality, and adaptive cruise control that can stop and go with traffic. The available safety content is stronger on higher trims and packages.
• Infotainment: The Aviator uses a standard 10.1-inch touchscreen with Sync 3, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also benefits from redundant center-stack controls, and higher trims can add a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The RWD model returns 18 mpg city, 26 highway, 21 combined, while the AWD version returns 17 mpg city, 24 highway, 20 combined. The plug-in hybrid is rated at 56 MPGe and offers 21 miles of electric range.

Which 2021 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2021 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 5 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, Grand Touring, Black Label, and Black Label Grand Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Aviator experience with synthetic leather, heated front seats, remote start, and a power liftgate. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model and can live without the richer cabin upgrades.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds upgraded leather, four-zone climate control, second-row captain's chairs, a panoramic sunroof, and the 12-speaker Revel stereo. If you want the Aviator to feel properly luxurious without jumping to the highest prices, this is the trim to target.
• Grand Touring: Choose this if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain and the extra punch that comes with it, along with adaptive headlights and the Elements Package Plus content. It suits buyers who care about performance and electrified driving more than keeping the price down.
• Black Label: This trim layers on the Convenience and Luxury packages as standard, including a head-up display, wireless charging, and the 28-speaker Revel Ultima sound system. It is the right pick if you want the most upscale cabin experience without going all the way to the top hybrid model.
• Black Label Grand Touring: This is the fully loaded choice, combining the plug-in hybrid setup with the most complete equipment list and the Dynamic Handling Package. Buy it only if you want maximum content and are comfortable paying for it.

The available safety package is Lincoln Co-Pilot 360, with Co-Pilot 360 Plus adding more advanced driver-assistance features on equipped models.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lincoln Aviator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,248 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,186, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $30,191 sits slightly below last year's $34,972.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the Aviator’s value is still being shaped by its luxury positioning and equipment mix, so well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones.

Because the price range has softened, buying at the right point matters more than ever if you want to protect future value. A clean history, strong condition, and desirable equipment can make a meaningful difference when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Aviator safe?

The Aviator earns top marks from both NHTSA and IIHS, and it earns a Top Safety Pick accolade from the IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln Co-Pilot 360 is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and front-and-rear parking sensors. Co-Pilot 360 Plus adds reverse automatic braking, self-parking functionality, and adaptive cruise control that can stop and go with traffic.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard across the lineup, so you should confirm exactly which package a used example has before you buy.

Should I buy a 2021 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines strong luxury appeal with multiple powertrain choices and a refined cabin.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $28,001, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $30,191 average.
• It marks Lincoln’s return to a more clearly luxury-focused identity.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market selection, the 2021 is the safer default. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2020 can still make sense, especially if you find one in excellent condition with the equipment you want.
