Used 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid for Sale near New Mexico

How much does the 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 188 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

The UX Hybrid fits you best if you want a refined commuter with standard all-wheel drive and strong efficiency rather than a roomy or especially quick crossover. Its biggest drawbacks are sluggish acceleration and an infotainment system that feels dated and frustrating to use. The cramped back seat is another trade-off if you regularly carry passengers.

Deal availability is solid, with 37.2% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The UX Hybrid’s appeal centers on refinement, comfort, and efficiency, and the expert review also describes it as pleasant to drive and composed over bumps. Its hybrid powertrain is tuned for easy daily commuting, and the cabin is notably quiet. The fuel-economy focus and calm road manners suggest a car built for low-stress ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about mechanical drama and more about living with its limited space and underwhelming performance over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid?

At 73.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and confirm whether any prior damage affected the structure, safety systems, or alignment. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the condition of the hybrid system, brakes, tires, and suspension, since those areas matter most on a used commuter. You should also pay close attention to cabin condition and infotainment operation, because the UX Hybrid’s tech setup is a known pain point.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The UX Hybrid lineup includes UX 250h AWD, UX 250h F-Sport AWD, UX 250h Luxury AWD, and UX 250h Black Line Special Edition. The base trim already brings standard all-wheel drive, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, 18-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, dual-zone climate control, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, pushbutton start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a six-speaker premium sound system. The F Sport adds unique exterior styling, unique wheels, LC-inspired instrumentation, active sound control, paddle shifters, a sport-tuned suspension, and unique sport seats. The Luxury trim adds a hands-free power rear hatch, acoustic glass, memory settings, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless and illuminated vent knobs, aluminum door sills, a power moonroof, and rain-sensing wipers. The Black Line Special Edition adds dark accents plus contrasting blue stitching and blue seat belts.
• Powertrain: The UX 250h uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors for 181 combined horsepower, paired with a CVT and standard all-wheel drive. It has decent around-town pickup, but acceleration gets noisy and slow at highway speeds. The upside is strong fuel economy and a calm, composed ride.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, traffic-sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. LED adaptive headlights, parking assist, a head-up display, and front-and-rear parking sensors are reserved for optional equipment or higher trims.
• Infotainment: The UX Hybrid uses Lexus Remote Touch with a center-console touchpad, and the screen supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is awkward to use because it is optimized for touchscreens, and the learning curve is steep. The premium stereo is a highlight, and the cabin’s quietness helps it shine.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel economy is 41 mpg city, 38 mpg highway, and 39 combined. In testing, it returned 41.2 mpg.

Which 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid is offered in 4 trim levels: UX 250h AWD, UX 250h F-Sport AWD, UX 250h Luxury AWD, UX 250h Black Line Special Edition.

Here's the short version:

• UX 250h AWD: This is the trim to start with if you want the core UX Hybrid experience at the lowest price. It already includes standard all-wheel drive, the full safety suite, and the main convenience and infotainment features, so it delivers the best value if you care most about efficiency and comfort.
• UX 250h F-Sport AWD: Choose this if you want the most distinctive styling and a sportier-feeling setup. It adds unique exterior details, sport seats, paddle shifters, and a sport-tuned suspension, but the underlying performance still does not turn the UX into a quick crossover.
• UX 250h Luxury AWD: This is the right pick if comfort features matter most. The added power hatch, heated and ventilated front seats, memory settings, acoustic glass, and moonroof make it the most upscale version, though it costs more.
• UX 250h Black Line Special Edition: Pick this if you want a darker appearance package with blue contrast details and a trim that sits closer to the base model in content than the Luxury trim.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but some features such as LED adaptive headlights, parking assist, a head-up display, and parking sensors are not standard on every trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid?

• Inventory: There are 188 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

What is the 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $28,033 sits slightly above last year's $27,862.

That small increase suggests the UX Hybrid has held its value fairly well rather than swinging sharply up or down. For a future seller, that kind of stability can make pricing easier because the market appears predictable. It also means you are less likely to face a sudden drop in value if you own the vehicle for a few years.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid safe?

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, traffic-sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Some safety equipment, including LED adaptive headlights, parking assist, a head-up display, and front-and-rear parking sensors, is reserved for optional equipment or higher trims.

Should I buy a 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 model stands out for its standard all-wheel drive, strong efficiency, and very high safety score.

The bottom line: If you want the most balanced mix of price stability, safety, and efficiency, the 2021 is the sensible choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can shop aggressively for a lower-mileage example near the bottom of the range, but you should prioritize condition and history over chasing the cheapest listing.
