Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated SUV with an expert score of 6.8/10. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The 2021 Land Rover Range Rover is built for you if you want a distinctly upscale SUV with stylish design and a premium interior. It also gives you multiple powertrain options, so you can tailor the vehicle more than many luxury SUVs allow.

The trade-offs are clear: fuel economy is poor, the touchscreen response is sluggish, and advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, the Range Rover’s broad powertrain lineup and premium cabin keep it appealing if you value presence and luxury over simplicity.

Its powertrain lineup is broad, and the vehicle is described as capable enough to handle difficult conditions with confidence.

The expert review also notes that the Range Rover can help you get out of tricky situations, whether that means rough weather, mud, snow, sand, or steep terrain. What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Land Rover Range Rover?

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a thorough inspection before you buy. Focus on overall condition, especially signs of heavy use, neglected maintenance, or wear in the cabin and technology.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The HSE Westminster special edition stands out with a more upscale presentation, while the base setup leaves advanced driver aids as optional rather than standard.
• Powertrain: You can shop multiple engine choices, including turbodiesel V6, supercharged V8, mild-hybrid, and plug-in hybrid options; the mild-hybrid turbocharged inline-six brings 395 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.
• Safety package: Every model includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, front and rear parking sensors, and a cruise-control speed limiter. More advanced driver aids are optional, with packages adding adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning, traffic sign recognition, driver monitoring, lane-centering assistance, a 360-degree surround-view camera, rear cross-traffic warning, and semi-autonomous parking.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses dual 10-inch touchscreens and a fully digital setup, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, voice control, and a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The tested model returned 20 mpg combined by EPA estimate, and the review recorded 18.5 mpg on its evaluation loop.

Which 2021 Land Rover Range Rover trim should I buy?

The 2021 Land Rover Range Rover is offered in 1 trim level: HSE Westminster.

Here's the short version:

HSE Westminster: This is the trim to focus on if you want the strongest blend of luxury, capability, and equipment. It adds the mild-hybrid turbocharged inline-six, and it comes with the Drive Pro and Park packages, which bring more advanced driver-assistance and parking features. If you want the most complete version of this model year without stepping into a heavily optioned special build, this is the best-value path.

The safety-package setup matters here: advanced driver aids are not standard on the Range Rover, so this trim’s included packages are a meaningful advantage.

What is the 2021 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

That drop suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face more price pressure than owners saw a year ago. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who purchased when prices were higher.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Every 2021 Range Rover includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, front and rear parking sensors, and a cruise-control speed limiter. More advanced driver aids are optional, and the Drive Pack, Drive Pro Pack, Driver Assist Pack, Park Pack, and Park Pro Pack add features such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning, traffic sign recognition, driver monitoring, lane-centering assistance, a 360-degree surround-view camera, rear cross-traffic warning, and semi-autonomous parking.
