That kind of score points to a vehicle that has satisfied many owners, even if you still want to compare condition, mileage, and pricing carefully. With 36.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

For used buyers, that suggests manageable ownership risk if you choose a well-kept example and avoid neglected vehicles with poor history or visible wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Land Rover Discovery Sport?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still review the history report carefully and confirm there are no gaps in maintenance or signs of prior damage. Put inspection priority on the vehicle’s overall condition, especially anything that suggests hard use, inconsistent repairs, or deferred upkeep. Focus on the details that matter most in a used SUV: body condition, interior wear, and whether the listing matches the seller’s claims.

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2021 Land Rover Discovery Sport's resale value?

The current average of $19,306 sits slightly below last year's $23,414.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the recent decline means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If you keep the SUV clean, documented, and accident-free, you give yourself a better chance of standing out when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Land Rover Discovery Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 is a sensible choice if you want a model year with softened pricing and a decent share of clean, well-priced listings. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, history, and asking price.
