Why it stands out
The 2021 Kia Stinger stands out in the crowded luxury sports sedan market through its impressive blend of performance, style, and practicality. It is powered by an entry-level 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 255 horsepower, while the GT model features a potent 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces a thrilling 365 hp. This range of options makes the Stinger appealing to various drivers, from those seeking efficient yet lively performance to those craving exhilarating acceleration and handling.
Beyond performance, the Stinger's interior echoes that of more expensive competitors, showcasing high-quality materials and cutting-edge technology features. Standard equipment includes a 7-inch infotainment system, wireless charging, and dual-zone climate control, while higher trims offer upgrades like a larger touchscreen and a premium sound system. The Stinger also boasts a hatchback design, which provides spacious rear seating and significant cargo capacity—23.3 cubic feet with the seats up and 40.9 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.
Expert reviews highlight its sharp handling, responsive steering, and overall fun-to-drive nature as major selling points. However, some advanced safety features are not standard across all trims, which could be a consideration for buyers prioritizing safety technology. Overall, the 2021 Kia Stinger proves itself as a compelling choice for those seeking a performance-oriented yet practical vehicle at an attractive price point.

Have a 2021 GT1 AWD. Owned for 6 months. Bought used because we couldnt find a 2023 in our area we wanted. Best value compared to the Audi A5 Sportback and Mercedes CLA 250/AMG 35. The 3.3L twin turbo is a dream. My wife and I absolutely love this car.
