Used 2021 Honda Passport for Sale nearNaples, FL

How much does the 2021 Honda Passport cost?

Prices have softened 5.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,025 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Honda Passport earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.0/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, spaciousness, and smooth handling, and they also call out strong cargo space and audio quality. The Passport’s two-row layout and active, adventure-leaning personality make it a fit if you want a practical SUV that still feels capable in everyday use. On the downside, the transmission can feel irritating, and the seats are a recurring complaint. Even so, 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile options in the market.

Is the 2021 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to comfort, spaciousness, and a smooth, trouble-free feel, while also highlighting cargo space and audio quality as strengths. The Passport’s performance notes also emphasize strong acceleration and a transmission that manages power well. Honda’s cost-effectiveness notes add that the Passport offers many of the Pilot’s advantages, including a comfortable ride and reliability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that condition and maintenance history matter more than the model’s generally positive reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace documentation. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the transmission feel, seat condition, and any signs of wear in the cabin. It also makes sense to compare trim equipment closely, since the Passport’s feature set changes meaningfully as you move up the range.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport is the entry point and includes 20-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, push-button start, tri-zone climate control, a seven-speaker audio system, and a one-touch fold-down rear bench. The EX-L adds leather upholstery, a power moonroof, a power rear liftgate, walk-away auto-locking, and power-adjustable front seats. The Touring adds front-and-rear parking sensors, a hands-free liftgate, a 115-volt outlet, an upgraded 10-speaker stereo, satellite-linked navigation, and a WiFi hotspot. The Elite adds heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and wireless device charging.
• Powertrain: Every trim uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. You get standard front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive, and the V6 is described as strong with well-managed power delivery.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control that can stop and go with traffic. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front-and-rear parking sensors are available, with the parking sensors tied to higher trims.
• Infotainment: The Passport uses an 8-inch touchscreen, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard. Honda does not mention wireless smartphone integration or over-the-air updates here, so focus on how the system feels in person.
• Fuel efficiency: The FWD model returns 20 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined, while AWD returns 19 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined.

Which 2021 Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2021 Honda Passport is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, EX-L, Touring, and Elite.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the value play if you want the Passport’s core strengths without paying for extras. You still get the V6, the 8-inch touchscreen, standard smartphone integration, and a solid set of everyday features, so it covers the basics well.
• EX-L: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds leather upholstery, a moonroof, a power liftgate, and more convenience features without jumping all the way to the top. If you want a more upscale feel, this is the trim to target first.
• Touring: Choose this if you want more family-friendly convenience and tech, including parking sensors, a hands-free liftgate, navigation, and a WiFi hotspot. It’s the trim that most clearly steps up comfort and usability.
• Elite: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and wireless charging. It makes sense if you want the most comfort and convenience features in the lineup.

Safety equipment is standard across the lineup, while blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors are available rather than universal.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,025 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,971, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $24,075 sits slightly below last year's $25,507.

That decline suggests the Passport has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the used market, which can help you if you’re shopping now. For a future seller, softer pricing means you may need to be more competitive when it’s time to list. The good news is that the model’s broad appeal, comfort, and practical two-row layout should still support demand. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Honda Passport safe?

The 2021 Honda Passport earns an overall rating of five out of five stars from NHTSA, and the IIHS gave it top "Good" scores in most crash tests, with an "Acceptable" rating in the passenger-side small overlap front crash test.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control that can stop and go with traffic. Available driver-assistance features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front-and-rear parking sensors. The main caveat is that the IIHS gave it only "Acceptable" ratings for headlights and child-seat anchor ease of use, plus a second-tier "Advanced" rating for front crash prevention tech.

Should I buy a 2021 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over largely unchanged while adding some additional features.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,222, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $24,075 average.
• It emphasizes rugged capability and practical interior functionality.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $29,224, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $24,075 average.
• It adds a light restyle, a TrailSport trim, and new safety features.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the balanced choice if you want the Passport’s established formula with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used price. If you’re focused on saving money, the 2020 is the better value path; if you want newer styling and added features, the 2022 is the upgrade path.
