The Ford Transit Crew is a full-size van with dedicated space for passengers and cargo, much like versions of the Chevrolet Express, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Nissan NV, and Ram ProMaster. New for 2021 is an Adventure Prep Package, bundling the turbocharged engine, driver-assist features, the 8-inch infotainment system, privacy glass, dual USB ports, and dual absorbent glass mat (AGM) batteries. The Transit Crew offers a surprising amount of safety features for a commercial vehicle. Standard features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, post-collision braking, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring, front- and rear-view split cameras, and active park assist are available. Ford’s Transit Crew remains among the most competent in its class.
