About 2021 Cadillac CT4
Overview

The 2021 Cadillac CT4 gets a significant update to the features menu despite the fact that this sporty sedan was introduced just last year. The CT4 faces off against entry-level luxury sedans like the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
The CT4’s exterior features standard LED lighting across the lineup, though other details vary by trim level. Luxury and Premium Luxury trims share a grille, fascia, and brightwork, while Sport and V-Series models get different grilles, fascias, side sills, and wheel designs. For 2021, Cadillac introduces a new Diamond Sky package for the Premium Luxury trim, which includes a new Diamond Sky Metallic paint job, an exclusive grille design and surrounds, a new taillight lens design, two-tone alloy wheels, and Brembo brakes (with blue calipers) at all four corners.
The engine lineup carries over unchanged. Buyers get a choice of turbocharged inline-four engines. The base engine is a 2.0-liter matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission and is rated for 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. There’s also a 2.7-liter engine, which comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and is rated for 309 hp and 348 lb-ft in the Premium Luxury model and 325 hp and 380 lb-ft for the V-Series model. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) comes standard and all-wheel drive (AWD) is available. The V-Series also features Magnetic Ride Control suspension and a limited-slip differential.
Standard features include keyless entry with push-button start, synthetic leather upholstery, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Available upgrades include leather upholstery, textured aluminum center-console trim, ambient lighting, seat memory settings, rain-sensing windshield wipers, sport front seats, and a sport steering wheel with magnesium paddle shifters. The aforementioned Diamond Sky package adds Sky Cool Gray/Jet Black leather upholstery with exclusive perforated seat inserts, exclusive interior trim, alloy pedals, and an exclusive key fob with Diamond Sky Metallic accents.
Standard tech features include 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display, HD Radio, satellite radio, OnStar, and a 4G LTE WiFi hot spot. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are new this year. Options include a high-definition 12-inch instrument cluster, new for this year, wireless device charging, and a Bose stereo.
This year, the CT4 gets the Buckle to Drive and Teen Driver safety systems as standard on all models, as well as forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, and a safety-alert seat. In early 2021, the Enhanced Super Cruise system with lane-change functionality will become available. Other standard and available safety features include a high-definition reversing camera, a reflective LED windshield collision alert, rear park assist, lane-change alert with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front park assist, advanced adaptive cruise control, a head-up display (HUD), following-distance indicator, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, rear pedestrian alert, reverse automatic braking, and automatic high beams.
The CT4 is a good pick for shoppers in search of a small luxury sedan with plenty of features. The 2021 model arrives in Cadillac dealers in the fall of 2020.

The CT-4 V has a great look. It is priced in the range of other comparable vehicles I’ve looked at (Jaguar XF, Genesis G70 3.3). Overall it is a good value. I do wish there were more interior colors available
