How much does the 2021 BMW X6 cost?

Prices have softened 10.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 396 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 BMW X6 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2021 BMW X6 stands out because it blends the X6’s original coupe-like SUV shape with a more aggressive, modern look than the second generation, and it leans hard into performance and technology. It also comes with a well-equipped cabin, including dual 12.3-inch displays, navigation, a panoramic moonroof, blind-spot monitors, forward emergency braking, and lane-departure warning. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2021 BMW X6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2021 BMW X6 was built with standard adaptive dampers, an eight-speed automatic, and a long list of standard driver-assistance and comfort features, which supports a polished ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a performance-focused luxury SUV can be costly to keep in top condition, so maintenance history matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 BMW X6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a full history report, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Focus on the condition of the suspension, electronics, and interior equipment, since this model leans heavily on technology and performance hardware. A careful pre-purchase inspection is especially important if you want to avoid surprises after purchase.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 BMW X6?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 396 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 79.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,904, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 BMW X6's resale value?

The current average of $40,904 sits slightly below last year's $45,721.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the current discount means your entry price matters more than usual. Buying well below the average can help protect you from further depreciation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 BMW X6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 is a strong choice if you want the X6’s distinctive styling, high-end equipment, and a market that currently favors buyers more than sellers. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, history, and asking price.
