Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the vehicle’s condition matches the listing. Because this is a premium SUV, condition matters a lot when you’re comparing examples at similar prices.

What is the 2021 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $25,955 sits slightly below last year's $31,044.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and avoid overpaying now, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss later. Demand should also benefit from the model’s premium reputation and broad appeal among shoppers who want comfort and utility.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 42.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $24,014, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $25,955 average.
• It brings a thorough refresh that improves styling, interior, powertrain, and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall value proposition, the 2021 is the better primary target because it combines a lower current market price, strong owner satisfaction, and good deal availability. If your budget is tighter, the 2020 is the sensible secondary path since it costs less and still delivers a refreshed, well-rounded luxury SUV experience.
