The FWD T5 offers up 23 mpg city, 35 highway, and 27 combined. The T6 drops to 21, 31, and 25. The T8 offers 71 MPGe in hybrid mode or 29 combined.

The S90 features keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. Additional options include ventilated and heated rear seats and a premium audio system.

The 2019 Volvo S90 fared well when crash-tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), earning Good scores in several categories. Standard safety features include a reversing camera, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear collision mitigation, parking sensors, rear-park assist, and a head-up display (HUD).
