Is the 2020 Nissan NV200 reliable?

At 59.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

The current average of $13,867 sits slightly below last year's $14,896.

That tells you the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to resell later, the current pricing trend suggests you should be realistic about depreciation rather than expecting a quick rebound. Strong condition and clean history will matter more if you want to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan NV200 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2020 if you want a year that combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you're especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still be worth comparing, but the 2020 stands out as a practical place to shop when condition and history check out.
