Used 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for Sale near Maryland

How much does the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cost?

Prices have softened 15.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 472 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter a good car?

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter stands out because it combines the utility you expect from a full-size van with an unusually broad range of configurations and a more refined driving experience than many rivals. It also brings a modern cabin with MBUX infotainment, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, USB-C ports, 12V DC outlets, 115V AC outlets, and wireless charging, which makes it easier to use as both a work vehicle and a people mover.

Cargo versions can offer up to 524 cubic feet of space, while passenger models can seat 12 on the standard wheelbase or up to 15 in long-wheelbase form. That flexibility makes it appealing if you need a van for delivery work, shuttle duty, or a custom build. 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter reliable?

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter’s appeal is tempered by complexity. The premium positioning means ownership can be expensive, and the added electronics bring more potential for software glitches and sensor issues.

Even so, it remains a compelling choice if you want a highly configurable commercial van with strong refinement, serious utility, and a long list of available equipment. For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is that repairs and diagnostics can become costly if the van has been worked hard or poorly maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter?

At 65% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any van you’re seriously considering and pay close attention to prior damage, title status, and maintenance records. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on electronics, sensors, and any signs of heavy commercial use, since those areas can be expensive to sort out later. Condition matters a lot here, so prioritize vans with clean documentation and evidence of consistent upkeep.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and disciplined.

• Deal availability: 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 472 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.69% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,721, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter's resale value?

The current average of $40,319 sits slightly below last year's $47,820.

That decline suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get into the van at a more reasonable entry point. For a future seller, though, it means resale expectations should stay realistic unless the van is especially well equipped, lightly used, and in excellent condition. If you buy smart now and keep maintenance records, you’ll be in a better position to protect value later.

Should I buy a 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 26.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.69% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better path if you want the updated feature set, broad configuration range, and a market that has softened enough to create some buying opportunities. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but you should still prioritize condition, maintenance history, and accident-free examples over chasing the lowest sticker price.
