Used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearCincinnati, OH

How much does the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 12.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,912 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.6/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise the luxurious feel, smooth ride, spacious interior, and modern technology, and they also like it as a family-friendly road-trip SUV. That lines up with the overview’s emphasis on a roomier cabin, quiet comfort, and upscale practicality. The main trade-offs are frustrating safety tech, unintuitive technology, and sluggish performance, so you should expect some usability compromises alongside the luxury appeal.

Good and great deals account for 33.8% of listings, which is a decent sign that you can still find competitive pricing.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels luxurious, smooth, and well suited to family use, with enough comfort and technology to make daily ownership appealing. The expert notes also emphasize a quiet, comfortable ride and a cabin that feels polished and practical, which supports the idea that this is a vehicle you can count on for regular use. The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that the technology and driver-assistance systems can be frustrating enough to affect day-to-day satisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not guarantee the individual listing you’re considering is clean. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, driver-assistance behavior, and overall condition, since the model’s technology can be unintuitive and its safety systems can be frustrating. Focus on whether the features you want are actually present, because some models were missing equipment that buyers may expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base GLE 350 starts with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, and the content shows that options can quickly add luxury features such as leather upholstery, massage seats, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, power rear-window blinds, 4-zone climate control, and upgraded audio. That makes the lower trim the one to scrutinize most closely for feature gaps, especially if you want a more complete luxury experience without piling on expensive options.
• Powertrain: The GLE 350 uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with 255 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. It is smooth and strong once moving, but it can feel sluggish from a stop and show noticeable turbo lag, so you should test low-speed response carefully.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package Plus adds autonomous safety features, including adaptive cruise, auto braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keep assist. The content also notes that the surround-view camera system is separate, so you should confirm whether that feature is included if you want the fullest safety setup.
• Infotainment: The GLE uses the MBUX infotainment system with two 12.3-inch screens, and the available package adds a head-up display, augmented-reality navigation, and the MBUX interior assistant. Wireless charging is also part of the broader tech package, so check whether the listing includes the equipment you want.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD GLE 350 is described as returning 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined.

Which 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 1 trim level: GLE 350.

Here's the short version:

The GLE 350 is the trim to focus on if you want the redesigned cabin, strong standard luxury feel, and access to the model’s best technology without moving into pricier versions. It gives you the core GLE experience, but you should pay close attention to option content because many comfort and convenience features were added separately. The safety-package note to watch is that the Driver Assistance Package Plus adds the autonomous safety features, while the surround-view camera system is not included with it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,912 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,177, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $27,177 sits slightly below last year's $30,978.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale upside may be more limited unless your vehicle is especially clean, well equipped, and well maintained. Strong demand for a luxury SUV with a comfortable cabin and broad appeal should still help support values better than a less desirable used model.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety content says there is no current testing data available from NHTSA or IIHS for this model year, so there is no crash-test lead to cite here. The available driver-assistance suite includes Attention Assist, adaptive cruise, auto braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keep assist, along with seat-kinetics features meant to reduce fatigue on longer drives. Even so, the system can be frustrating and unpredictable at speed, where it may wander in the lane and react poorly to shadows or merging situations.

Should I buy a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 brings a full redesign, a roomier cabin, and Mercedes’ newest MBUX technology.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $37,823, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $27,177 average.
• It adds GLE Coupe variants and a broader lineup with more distinctive styling.

The bottom line: If you want the best value, the 2020 is the smarter starting point because pricing has softened and inventory is healthy. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer-year alternative with a broader lineup, the 2021 is worth a look.
