When shoppers describe a car as something they can count on for comfort and day-to-day use, that usually supports confidence in the used market. What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Lincoln Continental?

At 65.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repairs. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of past bodywork so you can avoid paying strong money for a car with hidden issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Lincoln Continental?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 105 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.67% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,404, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Lincoln Continental's resale value?

The current average of $24,404 sits slightly below last year's $27,319.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you purchase near the lower end of the current range, you may reduce the amount of value left to lose later. Strong demand from shoppers who want comfort and luxury can also help support pricing when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Lincoln Continental or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2020 if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction in this group. If you're especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2020 stands out as the better starting point when you want a balance of value and confidence.
