There are 1,051 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Lexus NX a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Lexus NX earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It also fits well if you want a compact luxury SUV that balances everyday usability with a premium feel. Is the 2020 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback emphasizes reliability, dependability, and a trouble-free ownership experience, with owners also noting the NX’s strong reputation over the long term. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used luxury SUV you can count on. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been well maintained and not compromised by prior damage or neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Lexus NX?

At 67.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any listing that looks especially appealing. Focus on condition details that matter most in a used luxury SUV, including signs of prior bodywork, interior wear, and how well the technology and convenience features operate. If a vehicle has a clean history and checks out mechanically, it becomes a much stronger candidate.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Lexus NX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,051 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.01% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,587, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $26,320 sits slightly below last year's $26,860.

That softer pricing suggests the NX is holding value reasonably well, but not aggressively appreciating in the used market. If you buy at the right price, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation later. Strong demand for a well-reviewed luxury SUV can help support resale, especially when the vehicle has a clean history and desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $28,319, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $26,320 average.
• It adds a fresher pre-redesign feel with the same upscale appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you can stretch for a newer example and want to spend more for a later model year, the 2021 is worth a look.
