Used 2020 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearLexington, KY

How much does the 2020 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 10.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,514 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Jeep Gladiator earns a 4.8/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

Drivers consistently praise its fun driving experience, stylish design, and versatility as both a truck and a Jeep. They also highlight its off-road capability and spacious cargo area. The main trade-offs are a noisy highway ride and a cabin that can feel cramped, while the expert review also points to value concerns and the lack of standard advanced safety features.

Given its truck utility, open-air personality, and trail-ready character, it fits you best if you want something more distinctive than a conventional midsize pickup. The market also shows 35.3% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user review summary points to a vehicle that feels dependable in the ways owners care about most: it is praised for its versatility, off-road capability, and the sense that it can handle both work and adventure. That kind of feedback usually matters most when you want a used vehicle you can count on over time.

The expert review also reinforces that impression by describing the Gladiator as a truck built for hard use, with a drivetrain and chassis meant to handle rough roads and trail duty. If you buy used, the biggest long-term ownership risk is likely to come from how hard the truck was used before you found it, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Jeep Gladiator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report and then focus on how the truck was used, especially if it saw trail duty, towing, or frequent top-off driving. A careful inspection should pay close attention to the cabin, bed, suspension, and any signs of hard use or modifications. Because this model’s appeal depends so much on capability and character, condition matters as much as mileage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Four versions are available: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. The Sport is the least expensive, while the Rubicon is the most capable and most expensive; the Overland adds more comfort and convenience, and the Sport S sits in the middle. The base trim is the most stripped-down, so you should compare equipment carefully before assuming the cheapest truck is the best value.
• Powertrain: Every trim uses a 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 6-speed manual gearbox, with an 8-speed automatic available for an extra cost. The Gladiator is geared to make the most of its V6, and the expert review notes that it delivers unexpectedly speedy acceleration for a truck of this type.
• Safety package: The Active Safety Group adds blind-spot monitoring, rear parking-assist sensors, and LED taillights. The Advanced Safety Group adds adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning. These packages are optional, so you should not assume a used Gladiator has them.
• Infotainment: Bluetooth is standard, and the mid-level Uconnect 4 system brings a 7-inch display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and satellite radio. The top system adds an 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM Guardian connected services, and an SOS emergency call button.
• Fuel efficiency: The Gladiator is rated at 19 mpg in combined driving, and the expert review says gas mileage isn’t great.

Which 2020 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is also the most basic version, so you should only choose it if you are comfortable adding options later. It gives you the core Gladiator experience at the lowest starting price, but it is the trim where feature gaps are most likely to matter.
• Sport S: This is the trim to focus on if you want a better balance of price and equipment. It sits above the base model without jumping all the way to the more expensive comfort-oriented or off-road-focused versions, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers.
• Overland: This is the trim for you if you want a more upscale daily driver with more convenience and tech. The expert review’s test truck was an Overland, and it showed how the Gladiator can be equipped for broader use while still keeping its rugged personality.
• Rubicon: This is the trim to buy if off-road capability is your top priority. It adds the most serious trail hardware in the lineup, and the safety content also notes that some advanced safety features are optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,514 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.34% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,346, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $27,346 sits slightly below last year's $30,499.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price competitively to move a Gladiator quickly. Because the year-round low matches the current average, you should expect buyers to be price-sensitive unless your truck has especially desirable equipment or unusually clean history.

The Gladiator’s strong enthusiast appeal can help support resale, especially if it has desirable trims, good condition, and a clean vehicle history. Trucks with the right mix of capability and owner satisfaction tend to hold attention better than more ordinary used pickups.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator earns a conservative score for overall safety because of limited crash data and a lack of automatic emergency braking.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Gladiator offers an Active Safety Group and an Advanced Safety Group as optional extras. The Active Safety Group installs blind-spot monitoring, rear parking-assist sensors, and LED taillights. The Advanced Safety Group adds adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning. Those features are helpful, but they are not standard across the lineup.

The key caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should not assume a used example has the driver-assistance equipment you want. If safety matters to you, verify the exact package content on the specific truck you are considering.

Should I buy a 2020 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 stands out for blending Jeep identity with midsize pickup usefulness.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $29,838, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $27,346 average.
• It adds a turbo-diesel engine option.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the smarter starting point because prices have eased and inventory is healthy. If you are willing to pay more for the next model year’s diesel option and added features, the 2021 is worth a look.
