Used 2020 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2020 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 10.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,470 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — 4.83/5 from owners and 7.67/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

Drivers consistently praise its fun driving experience, stylish design, and versatility as both a truck and a Jeep. They also highlight the off-road capability and the spacious cargo area. On the downside, some owners mention highway noise, a cramped-feeling interior, and value concerns.

That lines up with the broader use case: you’re getting a midsize pickup that’s meant to work and play, especially if you want something more distinctive than a conventional truck. The market still shows 33.9% good or great deals, so there are opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a truck that feels dependable in the ways that matter to shoppers who want a Jeep-like experience: it’s praised for versatility, off-road confidence, and the sense that it can handle both daily use and adventure. The expert drive notes also reinforce that it’s built for hard use, with a cabin designed to get dirty and wet and hardware meant for rough terrain.

Jeep’s maintenance messaging also helps ownership confidence, since the truck’s ownership experience is framed around practical use rather than delicate treatment. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic durability and more about whether a hard-used example has been maintained and repaired properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Jeep Gladiator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like, because a truck with off-road appeal may have seen harder use than average. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, steering, underbody, and any signs of trail damage or water exposure. Focus on condition and equipment level, since the Gladiator’s feature set changes meaningfully by trim and option package.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Gladiator comes in Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. The base trim is the most stripped-down, while higher trims add more comfort and capability; the Rubicon is the most off-road-focused choice.
• Powertrain: Every trim uses a 3.6-liter V6 with 4-wheel drive and a 6-speed manual gearbox. An 8-speed automatic is available, and the truck is tuned for strong off-road use as well as towing and hauling.
• Safety package: The Active Safety Group adds blind-spot monitoring, rear parking-assist sensors, and LED taillights. The Advanced Safety Group adds adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning. These features are optional, so check carefully for trim-level gaps.
• Infotainment: Bluetooth is standard. The mid-level Uconnect 4 system adds Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, and a 7-inch display. The top system adds an 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM Guardian connected services, and an SOS emergency call button.
• Fuel efficiency: The truck is rated at 19 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2020 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Gladiator’s core personality at the lowest starting price. You still get the same V6, manual transmission, and 4-wheel drive, but you’ll want to budget for options if you care about comfort or tech.
• Sport S: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more everyday usability without jumping all the way to the pricier upper trims. If you want a more balanced mix of equipment and price, this is the one to focus on.
• Overland: This trim is the better pick if you want a more upscale feel and more available tech. It suits you if you plan to use the Gladiator as a daily driver as much as an adventure truck.
• Rubicon: This is the trim to buy if off-road capability is your priority. It adds the most serious trail hardware and is the right choice if you want the Gladiator’s most capable setup.

The safety packages are optional, so make sure any used example you’re considering has the driver-assistance equipment you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,470 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,866, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $27,866 sits slightly below last year's $30,978.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you’re starting from a lower entry point than last year’s average, which can help cushion depreciation. The Gladiator’s distinctive appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, especially for well-equipped, clean examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Its safety equipment is split across optional packages rather than being broadly standard. The Active Safety Group adds blind-spot monitoring, rear parking-assist sensors, and LED taillights, while the Advanced Safety Group adds adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning. That means you should check carefully for these packages when shopping used.

A key caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so a lower-trim truck may be missing equipment you’d expect in a newer pickup. That makes trim and option verification especially important if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2020 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It delivers a distinctive truck-and-trail personality with strong off-road appeal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $30,629, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $27,866 average.
• It adds a turbo-diesel engine option and free scheduled maintenance.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the smarter buy because prices have eased and inventory is healthy. If you’re willing to pay more for the diesel option and added ownership perks, the 2021 is worth a look.
