Used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 5.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,484 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — 4.67/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. The 2020 Chevrolet Colorado stands out as a midsize pickup that blends real utility with a broad range of trims and powertrains, so you can shop it as either a basic workhorse or a more comfortable daily driver. Its appeal is strongest in the mid-range and high trims, where it offers a good balance of performance and brawn. 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to find value.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Chevrolet Colorado has known transmission woes in the model line, with recurring problems reported on trucks built from 2014 to 2019 and even a few later ones, including shakes, jerks, clunks, failure to engage at all, and complete failure. Even so, the truck remains a solid companion with good value for the money, especially if you focus on well-kept examples. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is most tied to transmission condition and maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

At 68.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection before you commit. Pay close attention to transmission behavior, since the model line has known issues that can show up as rough shifting, clunks, or failure to engage. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and maintenance records, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage truck.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,484 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,304, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $22,675 sits slightly below last year's $23,910.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays flat. If you plan to sell later, condition and maintenance will matter a lot, especially on a truck with known transmission concerns. A clean history and strong service records should help you protect value better than mileage alone.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,835, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,675 average.
• It leans into straightforward, no-nonsense usefulness with available diesel and off-road capability.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping target, the 2020 is the stronger primary choice because it combines a lower current price trend with solid inventory and strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2019 is the better secondary path, especially if you value simplicity and can live with an older truck.
