Used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 6.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,026 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The Colorado is aimed at you if you want a midsize truck that feels more like a modern lifestyle vehicle than a stripped-down workhorse. Its strengths include easy-to-use technology, refined on-road handling, and impressive off-road handling, so it fits both daily driving and recreation-focused use.

The trade-offs are clear: the cabin materials are drab, there is only one cab/bed style, and the price is high. Even so, the Colorado’s feature set and capability make it a strong fit if you value equipment and versatility over bargain pricing.

Good and great deals account for 37.5% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Colorado is described as a well-equipped, modern truck that focuses on recreation-oriented buyers, and that positioning usually helps when a vehicle is built around desirable features rather than bare-minimum content. Its standard turbocharged four-cylinder setup and eight-speed automatic are presented as a solid, well-matched combination, and the truck’s overall design emphasizes capability and everyday usability.

The Colorado also includes a broad set of standard technology and safety features, which can help reduce ownership friction over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a truck with this much equipment and off-road hardware can be more expensive to keep in top shape if it has been used hard.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has been used for off-road driving or towing. Focus on the condition of the suspension, tires, underbody, and interior wear, since those areas can reveal how hard the truck has been used.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The WT is the base model and still includes a fully digital instrument panel, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and satellite radio, but it keeps cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats. The LT is the value pick because it adds alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, a rear USB port, and a full front center console, with available convenience packages that add features like fog lights, wireless device charging, heated front seats, and synthetic leather upholstery. Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2 add progressively more off-road hardware and comfort features, with the ZR2 bringing the most trail-ready equipment.
• Powertrain: The Colorado uses turbocharged four-cylinder power only, with a base 2.4-liter engine making 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and a Turbo Max version making 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. Both pair with an eight-speed automatic, and the stronger version is the better fit if you want more confident acceleration or plan to tow.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Teen Driver. The LT Convenience Package III adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, while adaptive cruise control is available on certain trim levels.
• Infotainment: Every Colorado gets an 11.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, an 11-inch fully digital instrument panel, two front USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and satellite radio. Higher trims and packages add wireless device charging, more USB ports, and wall-style power outlets.
• Fuel efficiency: The most efficient version returns 20 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The 4WD version returns 18 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined. The standard ZR2 returns 17 mpg across the board, and the ZR2 Bison returns 16 mpg across the board.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the entry point, but it is not stripped bare. You still get the digital gauge cluster, the 11.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and standard safety tech, so it works if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds meaningful everyday upgrades like alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, and a full front center console. If you want the smartest balance of price and equipment, start here.
• Trail Boss: Choose this if you want a more off-road-focused setup, since it adds a lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, and an automatically locking rear differential.
• Z71: This trim keeps much of the off-road character while adding a more upscale feel, including unique cloth-and-synthetic-leather upholstery, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and red front recovery hooks.
• ZR2: This is the most trail-ready choice, with more serious chassis upgrades, remote start, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-assisted tailgate, and a spray-on bed liner.

The LT Convenience Package III is the key safety-package upgrade to watch for, since it adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and reverse automatic emergency braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop with some patience but not assume every listing is overpriced.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,026 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.62% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,902, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $36,560 sits slightly below last year's $39,151.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you better entry pricing now, but it also means future sellers may face some depreciation pressure if prices keep easing. If you buy near the lower end of the range, you give yourself a better chance of limiting that downside.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado safe?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover, and five-star ratings in side crash testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Teen Driver. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and reverse automatic emergency braking are added with the LT Convenience Package III, while adaptive cruise control is available on certain trim levels.

One caveat to keep in mind is the three-star rollover result, which is worth considering if safety is a top priority for your used-truck search.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 emphasizes modern tech, refined handling, and strong off-road capability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,494, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,560 average.
• It focuses on basics buyers care about most, with modern tech and strong capability.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $38,948, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,560 average.
• It adds a right-sized package with strong standard power and broad off-road appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current pricing, strong inventory, and modern features, the 2024 is the primary choice. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the better value path, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for the newer model-year alternative.
