How much does the 2020 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 4.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 454 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the Q50’s appeal comes from its mix of power, equipment, and value rather than constant reinvention. The overview describes a familiar luxury-sedan formula with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, a seven-speed automatic transmission, and a strong emphasis on standard features, which should appeal if you want a well-equipped premium sedan. It also notes that the model’s long-running design can feel dated versus newer rivals, so you should value substance and equipment over the latest styling or tech. 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview says reliability is generally considered solid, but it also flags warped brakes as a common issue and notes that 3.0t models have been known to suffer from turbo failures. That means you should pay close attention to maintenance records and mechanical condition, especially if you plan to keep the car for the long haul.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 INFINITI Q50?

At 53.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and prioritize cars with clean records and consistent service documentation. A pre-purchase inspection is worth it, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with performance-oriented equipment. Focus on overall condition, brake health, and evidence of careful ownership rather than just the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 454 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.63% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,609, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $18,609 sits slightly below last year's $19,512.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you’re thinking like a future seller. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of depreciation. The model’s value proposition still leans on equipment and performance, so well-kept examples should remain easier to justify to shoppers than neglected ones. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,005, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,609 average.
• It adds a Sensory trim and more driver-assist tech.

The bottom line: Choose the 2020 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. Consider the 2021 if you’re willing to pay more for the newer feature set and a slightly updated ownership experience, but price-sensitive buyers will likely find the 2020 the smarter buy.
