How much does the 2020 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 3.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 453 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 INFINITI Q50 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a midsize premium sedan that emphasizes power, equipment, and value, and it offers rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive along with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The Q50’s appeal is strongest if you want a luxury sedan with a generous standard-features list rather than a constantly reinvented design. With 26.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Q50 is described as generally solid on reliability, but it also has a few known weak points. Warped brakes are a common issue, and 3.0t models have been known to suffer from turbo failures. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable if you verify maintenance history and inspect the car carefully before committing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 INFINITI Q50?

At 54.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to brakes, turbocharged models, and overall maintenance records. Focus on condition and service history first, because those factors matter more than mileage alone on a used luxury sedan.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 453 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,630, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $18,649 sits slightly below last year's $19,371.

That softer pricing suggests the Q50 has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you may be better positioned to limit losses when it’s time to sell. The current market also shows that buyers are still responding to value, which supports demand for clean, well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,756, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,649 average.
• The 2021 adds a new Sensory trim and more driver-assist tech.

The 2020 is the better primary choice if you want the stronger value proposition and a lower entry price. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2020 gives you the better path; if you want the newer-year updates and can pay more, the 2021 is the alternative to compare.
