Why it stands out
The 2020 INFINITI Q50 stands out as a midsize premium sedan that leans on a strong mix of power, equipment, and value. It was part of a long-running first generation that stayed largely the same over many years, which helped give the car a familiar formula rather than a constantly changing one. Buyers could choose rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and the model’s appeal was rooted in its generous standard features and its reputation for offering a lot for the money.
By this point in its run, the Q50 had already moved to the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, and the lineup had been trimmed down after the hybrid was discontinued for the 2019 model year and the 2.0t was dropped in 2020. The car also benefited from equipment upgrades that arrived in the later years of the generation, including standard Forward Emergency Braking and Predictive Forward Collision Warning from the 2019 model year onward. For the 2021 model year, the entry-level Q50 Pure gained leatherette seat trim, a wi-fi hotspot, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the mid-level Q50 Luxe added features such as a power moonroof, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot warning.
The tradeoff is that the Q50’s age was becoming harder to ignore by the end of its run, and fuel economy was never a strong point. Even so, it remained appealing for shoppers who wanted a well-equipped luxury sedan with powerful V6 performance and a competitive price.

As long it’s got Navigation, paddle shifter, Bose stereo, memory seats etc... combined with the reliability of an Infiniti, I think it has a great value compared to some of it’s competitors ie BMW, Audi & Mercedes Benz
