Used 2020 Honda Passport for Sale nearOrlando, FL

How much does the 2020 Honda Passport cost?

Prices have softened 7.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 905 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.5/5 model with an expert rating of 8.8/10. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Drivers consistently praise its comfort, spaciousness, and smooth ride, and many also like the strong V6 engine and cargo-hauling utility. The Passport’s upmarket, two-row layout fits you well if you want something more adventurous than a typical family crossover without giving up everyday livability.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and some concerns about electrical issues and an infotainment system that can feel outdated. Even so, the market shows 33.6% good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially around comfort, spaciousness, and the way it handles daily use. The expert test-drive data also emphasizes that the Passport is practical and capable, with a smooth-shifting powertrain and a setup that feels reassuring in a variety of driving situations.

The Passport’s ownership picture is still worth a close look on the used market because some drivers mention electrical issues and an outdated infotainment system. If you’re buying used, focus on service history and make sure the electronics work as they should.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Honda Passport?

At 69.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Pay close attention to body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the cabin electronics and driver-assist features operate correctly.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Passport comes in Sport, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. The base trim is the most stripped-down, while higher trims add more comfort and convenience features, including heated and ventilated front seats, a leather-trimmed heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat with memory, and a moonroof.
• Powertrain: Every Passport uses a 3.5-liter V6 paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. There’s no hybrid or electrified version, and the engine is described as smooth and sufficient for a variety of driving situations.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes Collision Mitigation Braking System with forward-collision warning, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and a rearview camera with a birds-eye view. Higher trims add dynamic gridlines, blind-spot monitoring, parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic detection.
• Infotainment: The base Sport gets a 5.0-inch display, while EX-L, Touring, and Elite trims get an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Higher trims can add a 10-speaker audio system, satellite radio, two extra USB ports, a wireless phone charger, and a Wi-Fi hot spot.
• Fuel efficiency: The Passport is rated at 20 mpg city and 25 mpg highway with front-wheel drive, or 19 mpg city and 24 mpg highway with all-wheel drive.

Which 2020 Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2020 Honda Passport is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, EX-L, Touring, and Elite.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, so it makes the most sense if you want the Passport’s core space, V6 power, and standard safety tech at the lowest price. It’s the value play if you can live without the larger screen and extra comfort features.
• EX-L: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the more useful everyday upgrades, including the larger infotainment screen and a more premium-feeling cabin, without jumping all the way to the top of the range.
• Touring: Choose this if you want more convenience and tech, and if you’re interested in the available navigation and added equipment mentioned in the data.
• Elite: This is the most fully equipped version, with the richest comfort features and standard torque-vectoring all-wheel drive. It’s the one to buy if you want the most upscale Passport experience.

Honda Sensing is standard, while blind-spot monitoring, parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic detection are reserved for higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage but still need to be picky.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 905 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,085, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $22,085 sits slightly below last year's $23,784.

That softer pricing suggests the Passport has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help future sellers if demand stays steady. A lower entry point can also make the model easier to move later, especially if your vehicle has clean history and strong equipment.

Because the Passport has broad appeal as a comfortable, practical two-row SUV, well-kept examples should remain attractive to shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Honda Passport safe?

The 2020 Honda Passport achieved good scores from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) crash test and evaluation, and it was named an IIHS Top Safety Pick.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes Collision Mitigation Braking System with forward-collision warning, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and a rearview camera with a birds-eye view. Higher trims add dynamic gridlines, blind-spot monitoring, parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic detection.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 carries over unchanged and keeps the Passport’s comfortable, trail-ready character.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $19,978, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,085 average.
• It emphasizes simple space and utility with available all-wheel drive and high ground clearance.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $23,947, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $22,085 average.
• It adds some additional features while keeping the Passport’s adventurous, daily-use focus.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the right default if you want the Passport’s comfort, capability, and value balance without paying more for a newer year. If price is your top priority, the 2019 is the better bargain; if you want a slightly newer version and don’t mind paying more, the 2021 is the alternative to compare.
