Used 2020 Honda Insight for Sale nearRaleigh, NC

How much does the 2020 Honda Insight cost?

Prices are up 2.28% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 220 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Honda Insight a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Honda Insight earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, gas mileage, spacious interior, and easy-to-use technology, especially Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The main tradeoff some drivers mention is the lack of a hatchback option and higher used prices. With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Honda Insight reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise centered on comfort, fuel economy, and technology that works well over time. That kind of consistent satisfaction usually matters most when you want a used car you can count on for routine commuting and ownership without surprises. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying too much for a car whose condition and history have not been carefully verified.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Honda Insight?

At 63.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus your condition check on signs of past repairs, uneven panel gaps, tire wear, and anything that suggests the car has not been maintained consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Honda Insight?

Act selectively, because this market still favors sellers more than buyers.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 220 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.28% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 63.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,341, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Honda Insight's resale value?

The current average of $19,614 sits slightly above last year's $19,177.

That upward move suggests the market has been willing to pay a bit more for this model year, which can help support resale value if you buy carefully. If prices stay firm and inventory remains limited, a well-kept example should be easier to move later than one with a questionable history or heavy wear. Strong condition and a clean record matter even more when the market is already showing steady demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda Insight or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.28% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $16,995, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $19,614 average.
• It offers a practical sedan layout with strong interior and trunk space.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall market signal and are comfortable shopping carefully, the 2020 is the better target. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2019 is the more budget-friendly path and still delivers the Insight’s practical hybrid appeal.
