Is the 2020 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.78/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its smooth and quiet ride, good power, and ample space, and many also value its affordability and distinctive design. That makes it a fit if you want a roomy, full-size sedan with comfort and presence rather than a smaller, more modern-feeling alternative. With 28.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as well-built, and the recurring praise for its smooth ride, good power, and overall dependability supports that impression. The combination of a comfortable cabin and durable-feeling powertrains is part of why many owners feel confident keeping one for the long haul. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the model’s basic appeal and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean history and consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chrysler 300?

At 59.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden body, suspension, or repair issues. Focus closely on condition, maintenance records, and any signs that the car has been repaired after a collision, since a clean-looking listing is not always a clean-history listing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chrysler 300?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 633 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,795, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $17,984 sits slightly below last year's $19,948.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car stands out against similar listings. A clean history and strong presentation matter more when the broader market is already softer.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,700, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $17,984 average.
• It adds available all-wheel drive and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to spend more for added powertrain choice, the 2021 is the better secondary path for buyers who want more performance and flexibility.
