How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

There are 2,505 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the overview shows a midsize pickup that blends real utility with a broad range of trims and powertrains. That makes it appealing if you want a truck that can work as a basic hauler or a more comfortable daily driver, with stronger appeal in the mid-range and high trims. 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also notes known transmission issues affecting trucks built from 2014 to 2019 and even a few later ones, including rough shifting and more serious engagement problems. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is tied less to the truck’s overall concept and more to verifying how a specific example has been maintained and driven.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

At 68.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put the inspection priority on the transmission, since the model line has a known history of shifting and engagement problems. Also focus on overall condition, because a clean-looking truck can still hide mechanical or bodywork issues that matter more than mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right truck.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,505 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,303, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $22,575 sits slightly below last year's $23,679.

That softer pricing suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim, since buyers are likely to compare your truck against a fairly broad supply of similar listings. Well-kept examples should still hold attention, but you should expect pricing pressure if the truck has accident history or signs of heavy use.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,647, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,575 average.
• It emphasizes straightforward usefulness with available diesel and ZR2 capability.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2020 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money up front and you’re comfortable with a simpler setup, the 2019 is the better value-focused alternative.
