Used 2020 Cadillac CT5 for Sale nearMiami, FL

How much does the 2020 Cadillac CT5 cost?

Prices have softened 3.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 391 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Cadillac CT5 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Cadillac CT5 earns a 4.75/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the stylish look, smooth driving experience, and comfortable interior. The customizable features also stand out, and the design gives the car a more modern, attention-grabbing feel.

The main trade-offs are the underwhelming base engine and the irritating transmission. The overview also frames the CT5 as a luxury sport sedan for buyers who value style, comfort, and a polished driving experience over maximum power.

With 28.9% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Cadillac CT5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels smooth, comfortable, and easy to live with over time. It also suggests the CT5 is the kind of sedan buyers can count on for a stylish, satisfying ownership experience, especially if they value a refined daily driver.

The expert review reinforces that dependability story by describing the Premium Luxury model as mostly competent and confidence inspiring in real-world driving. It also notes that the twin-turbo V6 and 10-speed automatic work together smoothly in normal use.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term ownership risk is choosing the wrong configuration, since the base setup is less satisfying and the transmission behavior can become frustrating when you drive more aggressively.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Cadillac CT5?

At 70.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of body panels, paint consistency, and any signs of prior repair. It also makes sense to focus on cabin condition and test-drive behavior, since comfort and drivability are central to this model’s appeal.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Luxury trim is the least expensive version, but it comes only with the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and lacks the stronger setup recommended for this car. Premium Luxury and V-Series are the trims called out as the better choices, with the V6 available on Premium Luxury and standard on V-Series.
• Powertrain: The base 2.0-liter turbo four is described as unrefined and lacking power, while the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 is the engine you want. It pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and the car also uses Active Fuel Management and stop/start technology to help efficiency.
• Safety package: The CT5’s safety-technology suite is available only after you move beyond Luxury trim. It includes adaptive cruise control with regular cruise control operation, lane-keeping assistance, lane-departure warning through the Safety Alert driver’s seat, and subtle corrective steering input. Super Cruise is not available for this model year.
• Infotainment: The CT5 uses a 10.0-inch high-definition touchscreen with a clean layout and quick response. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Cadillac Connected Services through OnStar, a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, and Near Field Communication smartphone pairing are included, while navigation and a 15-speaker Bose system are optional.
• Fuel efficiency: The twin-turbo V6 test car is EPA rated at 21 mpg combined, and the review recorded 20.1 mpg in testing.

Which 2020 Cadillac CT5 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Cadillac CT5 is offered in 4 trim levels: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and V-Series.

Here's the short version:

• Luxury: This is the entry point, but it comes with the underwhelming turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, so it makes the least sense if you want the CT5’s best qualities. It is the trim to skip unless price is your only priority.
• Sport: This trim adds a more aggressive appearance, but it still leaves you with the same base engine, so it does not solve the CT5’s biggest weakness. It is not the best-value choice.
• Premium Luxury: This is the best-value trim because it unlocks the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 as an option and aligns best with the CT5’s comfort-and-style mission. If you want the strongest balance of refinement, equipment, and everyday usability, this is the trim to target.
• V-Series: This is the performance-oriented choice, with the twin-turbo V6 standard and more power than Premium Luxury. It makes sense if you want the strongest factory performance in the lineup.

The safety-technology suite is not available on Luxury, so if driver assistance matters to you, shop above the base trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Cadillac CT5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 391 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 70.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,775, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Cadillac CT5's resale value?

The current average of $26,254 sits slightly below last year's $27,222.

That softer pricing suggests the CT5 has already moved into a more buyer-friendly part of its depreciation curve. If you buy well now, you may be starting from a more reasonable entry point than shoppers had a year ago.

For a future seller, that can help if you choose a desirable configuration and keep the car in strong condition. The V6-equipped trims should be easier to market than the base setup because they better match what shoppers seem to want from this sedan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Cadillac CT5 safe?

The Cadillac CT5 earns five-star crash-test ratings across the board from NHTSA, including rollover resistance.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The CT5’s safety-technology suite is a strength, but you need to move beyond Luxury trim to get it. Available features include adaptive cruise control, regular cruise control operation, lane-keeping assistance, lane-departure warning through the Safety Alert driver’s seat, and subtle corrective steering input.

One caveat is that Super Cruise is not available for the 2020 CT5. The IIHS had not rated the car at the time of the review.

Should I buy a 2020 Cadillac CT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 CT5 stands out as Cadillac’s new luxury sport sedan, with stylish design and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the CT5’s fresh styling and approachable tech at a softer price, the 2020 is the right place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, shop carefully for a well-kept Premium Luxury or V-Series example, since those trims better match the car’s strengths than the base model.
