Used 2020 Audi Q7 for Sale nearWashington, DC

How much does the 2020 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 12.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,033 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious features, smooth and quiet ride, comfort, and drivability, and many also like how it handles in snowy conditions. The Q7’s refreshed styling, upgraded interior, and modern technology help it feel polished and competitive in the midsize luxury SUV class. On the downside, the third row is cramped and cargo space is limited, so it works best if you value refinement and driving enjoyment more than maximum family-hauling room. With 37.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with owners describing it as smooth, quiet, and comfortable enough to count on for regular driving. The expert road test also reinforces that impression by highlighting the Q7’s well-rounded nature, strong engine, and composed behavior on the road. Audi’s 48-volt mild-hybrid system helps conserve fuel by supporting stop/start operation and engine-off coasting, which adds a layer of efficiency-minded engineering to the drivetrain. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that luxury-SUV upkeep can be costly, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because accident-free status does not replace a full inspection. Pay close attention to the third row, cargo area, and any signs of heavy family use, since those are the areas where wear and practicality concerns are most likely to show up. It also makes sense to test the infotainment system, driver-assistance features, and suspension behavior on a road test so you can confirm everything works as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q7 is available in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trim levels. The base trim already includes Quattro all-wheel drive, leather upholstery, and a third-row seat, while Premium Plus and Prestige add more equipment and can unlock additional driver-assistance upgrades. If you want the best value, the midlevel trim is the one to focus on because it balances equipment and price more effectively than the entry model.
• Powertrain: The 55 TFSI uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive. The 48-volt mild-hybrid system helps conserve fuel, and the Q7 is rated at 18 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Audi’s advanced driver-assistance suite includes Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centering assistance. Some of the upgraded safety content is tied to Premium Plus with the Executive Package or to Prestige, so check carefully for feature gaps on lower trims.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses a dual-screen setup with a 10.1-inch upper touchscreen and an 8.6-inch lower touchscreen. It also includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, natural voice recognition, handwriting recognition, navigation with Google Earth imagery, Audi Connect services, and a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q7 is rated at 18 mpg combined, and the road test returned 21 mpg on a trip and 18.1 mpg on a local fuel-economy loop.

Which 2020 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, and it already gives you Quattro all-wheel drive, leather upholstery, and a third-row seat. If you want the Q7’s core luxury-SUV experience without stretching for extras, this is the trim to start with.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it opens the door to more advanced equipment, including the Executive Package with upgraded driver-assistance features. It makes the Q7 feel more complete without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• Prestige: This is the most fully equipped version, adding features such as adaptive air suspension, a full-color head-up display, and more standard technology and comfort content. Choose this if you want the most polished and feature-rich Q7 experience.

For safety-package shoppers, the upgraded ADAS content is available through the Executive Package on Premium Plus or standard on Prestige.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,033 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,288, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $24,288 sits slightly below last year's $27,688.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. A softer market can also make it easier to attract shoppers who want a luxury SUV without paying new-car money. If the vehicle is well maintained and equipped with desirable features, it should remain easier to resell than a less refined or less popular alternative.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2020 Audi Q7 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS, though its headlights are rated poor.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi equips the Q7 with Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist, which adds adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centering assistance. Those features are strongest on Premium Plus with the Executive Package or on Prestige, so lower trims may leave you without some of the most advanced driver aids. The main caveat is the poor headlight result, which keeps the Q7 from being an even cleaner safety standout.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The refreshed styling, updated interior, and stronger technology make this year feel especially modern.

The bottom line: The 2020 Q7 is the right pick if you want the refreshed version with stronger tech, a more polished cabin, and a compelling mix of performance and luxury. If your priority is simply finding the lowest entry price, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2020’s updates make it the more appealing all-around choice for most shoppers.
